Road Trip to de Young

Oscar de la Renta exhibit at the De Young -- here we come.

Exhibit exquisite.  Dresses timeless. 

So much to take in.  Also explored the rest of the museum, taking in modern art and more. 

In the Tower with 360 views.  Here we are looking at Twin Peaks and Academy of Sciences.

Much needed R&R.  Can't wait til our next road trip.  Thinking Legion of Honor or the Zoo.

Um, Hop, Hop, Hopping Along Hicks

Club outing doing Hicks (south) and Mt. Um.  Hmm, I'd rather be home waiting for the Easter Bunny to bring me some delicious dark chocolate.  Here I am on Alamitos Road.

Well, maybe while I'm out climbing Hicks and Mt. Um, the Easter Bunny will be hopping along to my place to leave me a basket of goodies.

I climbed.  I sweated.  I dreamt about the Easter Bunny and dark chocolate goodies.  I dreamt about a lot of things far darker than chocolate and just as delicious.  It was tough given that my riding has been sporadic but I managed to get up Hicks and Mt. Um.  26 miles later and no chocolate.  Sigh.
