What To Do on a Cloudy Day

The Boyfriend and I decided to do a ride we haven't done since 2008 -- biking on our hybrids (well he was on his mtn bike) over Dumbarton Bridge to Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge.  Perfect choice for a blah day involving drizzle, clouds, and some sun.  Of course it was I who came up with the idea...

It was spectacular.  Lots of pretty flowers.  And of course, the threat of aliens....

Lookey, there's The BF tackling a hill.  We sure got a workout.

More spectacular.  We got rained on, well, spat on is probably more accurate.  Of course, we know, it was the Aliens peeing on us.

Omg, there are so many trails to explore.  It was so much fun despite the threat of aliens lurking around every corner and hill.

The ride is a mix of smooth and bumpy road, gravel road, and hard packed dirt.  Every turn presents a pretty view.  We ended up doing 33 miles.  Hopefully we won't wait 10 years to do this ride again....
