Being on Bernal
Another pleasant club ride doing Bernal which I haven't done in a long time. I managed to do 32.5 mph on its descent. That was fun. We were quite the social group chatting away, enjoying the sunshine, and just being.
I ended up climbing Montebello with C.L. and the early crew. The valley was all socked in, but the top was sunny, and the view out over the cloudtops was lovely. I was first up, and there were lots of friendly men at the top: you should have been there! But tonight I have a date with T.M., having refused cajoling to continue on dirt road with guy on beautifully chromed Rivendell bike.
